Transforming Course Development
This project implements a scalable instructional design model aimed at empowering faculty and elevating instructional designer roles. Through a faculty Course Design Bootcamp, faculty gain the autonomy to create high-quality courses independently. Instructional designers, in turn, transition to a consultancy role, focusing on advanced pedagogy and innovation. To support this shift, professional development programs for instructional designers are being developed, preparing them for strategic, leadership-driven responsibilities in this new model. This project ultimately fosters a collaborative, sustainable approach to course design that benefits both faculty and instructional design teams.
